At the moment Blitz does not collect any user data.
Blitz is an app developed by myself using react native to help students at my university to connect to one another. The app automates the creation of groupchats for all courses at my Boston University each semester.
The list of courses is obtained by webscraping the full list of courses on offer at BU each semester.
The app contains user generated communities that function similar to facebook groups and reddit communities.
Users can make posts that other users can repsond to.
Above is the BU dorm swap community.
Messages from groupchats, classes, and dms can all be viewed by users in one place.
Users have access to a directory of all other users.
The app allows users to create private groupchats with their friends.
The app also has a market section for people that want to be able to sell things.
Individuals that have been approved will have the ability to post listings in the market section.
Right now, the app can't process transactions so item listers need to be contacted by buyers.
The app has a curated explore page where users can read featured articles.

Next Steps
Moving forwards, I seek to increase the support for other schools and improve the functionality of the existing set of features.
